Montserrat Moya Cardona

She has a degree in Geography and History with a specialization in Physical Geography from the University of Barcelona and has worked for many years as a consultant for center greening projects. Her interests focus on environmental awareness and sharing a different perspective on her approach to nature.

Conservation Area

Ona Font Rifà

◼️  Head of Conservation and Research Area

She has a degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has been an associate professor in the Department of Zoology since 2014. She has worked on various projects related to the conservation, education, research and management of natural spaces. His interests focus on the study of populations and how to increase their ecological resilience.

Santiago Poch Cartaña

◼️  Project technician

He holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the UdG and a master's degree in Biodiversity from the UB. He collaborates in the study of the ecology of amphibians and aquatic reptiles with the Continental Aquatic Ecology Research Group (GRECO) of the UdG. Her interests focus on vertebrate wildlife, her interactions, space use, and exotic species.

Júlia Ferrer Morell

◼️  Project technician

She has a degree in Biology from the UdG and a master's degree in Wildlife Management from the UMU. She is a collaborator in the Desmares II project, on sustainable fishing in protected areas: collaboration of the fishing sector in the conservation of feathered cormorants with the UdG Animal Biology Research Group. His interests are focused on the preservation of nature, with special emphasis on population dynamics and on disseminating its status through conservation photography.

Laia Carbonell Vilaplana

She has a degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona and is a project technician in the field of communication and management of public use in natural spaces. Her interests are citizen participation in the management of protected areas and communication to raise awareness and join forces for environmental conservation.

Núria Bisquert Font

◼️  Head of Green Economy Area

She has worked in the Third Social Sector for 20 years having been the director of a socio-labor insertion company with extensive experience in project management. Interest in promoting the social and solidarity economy as an urgent need for the resolution of inequalities and the care of our natural environment.
