Sustainable Management Area

Ander Achotegui Castells

◼️  Director and Head of Sustainable Management

He has a degree in Environmental Sciences, a master's degree in Terrestrial Ecology and a doctorate in Forest Pest Ecology from the UAB. Its main interests are mitigation and adaptation to global change, especially the research and implementation of management systems that conserve biodiversity and promote valuable ecosystem services for the agricultural and forestry sectors.

Armand Casadó Tortosa

◼️  Project technician

He holds a degree in Biology from the UdG and a master’s degree in management and restoration of natural spaces from the UB and GIS, specializing in geospatial analysis, from UNIGIS. His interests are focused on the development of an agro-ecological model beneficial to the peasantry and on the application of GIS for the study and conservation of nature.

Education Area

Montse Casalprim Busquets

◼️  Head of Education and Volunteering

She has a degree in political science, a postgraduate degree in Leadership and People Management from the UdG, and has completed the ESADE NGO Management Program. She has a Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP) and a degree in leisure. With extensive experience in the world of associations and leisure education, his interests are focused on environmental education as a basic tool for transmitting knowledge, giving rise to learning, raising awareness so that from the youngest to the oldest can create a link with nature and thus better management and conservation of it.

Genís Rovira Turón

He is an Environmental Educator at IES Montilivi and a leisure director. He works as an environmental educator at the organization, where he combines his profession with a passion for nature, organic gardening and leisure education.

Agnès Soldevila Noguera

She has a degree in Biology from the University of Girona and works as an Environmental Educator and Leisure Director at the organization. Her interests are taking advantage of nature as a learning tool, raising children’s awareness of nature conservation and combating climate change.

Montserrat Moya Cardona

She has a degree in Geography and History with a specialization in Physical Geography from the University of Barcelona and has worked for many years as a consultant for center greening projects. Her interests focus on environmental awareness and sharing a different perspective on her approach to nature.

Conservation Area

Ona Font Rifà

◼️  Head of Conservation and Research Area

She has a degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has been an associate professor in the Department of Zoology since 2014. She has worked on various projects related to the conservation, education, research and management of natural spaces. His interests focus on the study of populations and how to increase their ecological resilience.

Santiago Poch Cartaña

He holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the UdG and a master's degree in Biodiversity from the UB. He collaborates in the study of the ecology of amphibians and aquatic reptiles with the Continental Aquatic Ecology Research Group (GRECO) of the UdG. Her interests focus on vertebrate wildlife, her interactions, space use, and exotic species.

Júlia Ferrer Morell

She has a degree in Biology from the UdG and a master's degree in Wildlife Management from the UMU. She is a collaborator in the Desmares II project, on sustainable fishing in protected areas: collaboration of the fishing sector in the conservation of feathered cormorants with the UdG Animal Biology Research Group. His interests are focused on the preservation of nature, with special emphasis on population dynamics and on disseminating its status through conservation photography.

Ivette Casadevall Cufí

◼️  Head of Communication and Public Use of Natural Spaces

She has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a master's degree in Research in Social Communication, specializing in Communication in the Third Environmental Sector. Her interests are focused on communication for change, environmental awareness and citizen participation as tools to build a society more aware of the importance of conserving nature and protecting our environment.

Pere Martín Sànchez

He holds a degree in Cultural Communication from the University of Girona and a master's degree in International Relations and Communication from the Camilo José Cela University in Madrid. Journalist affiliated with the Catalan Association of Journalists with interests in the field of environmental communication with the aim of establishing the culture and conservation of the environment as the main axes for social transformation.

Her interests are citizen participation in the management of protected areas and communication to raise awareness and join forces for environmental conservation.

She has worked in the Third Social Sector for 20 years having been the director of a socio-labor insertion company with extensive experience in project management. Interest in promoting the social and solidarity economy as an urgent need for the resolution of inequalities and the care of our natural environment.
